Those with the clearest vision often have to fight the hardest to get others to see what they see..

I have a fascination. I have a fascination for a man, a black man, who was left by his father as a kid, had a monkey as a pet, went to a Muslim school in Indonesia and grew up in Hawaii, talked himself into Harvard Law School and in the end won more votes as a president candidate of the United States of America than another person has ever done. This man turned the state of Indiana into a blue state, after 44 years of republican domination.

Yes, I am talking about Barack Hussein Obama. First of all, I want to make it clear that The United States of America will always in my eyes be seen as a superpower promoting its national interest (as every country would do), and as one of my many conspirational theories I do not think that a president of a country can do too much good, or too much damage for that sake, in this contemporary global capitalistic world. I find corporations and firms stronger than any government, with money being the central issue and the star of the show in the highest levels of power in both USA and the West. I think that no matter what USA ( or another country ) does, it has to benefit the corporations that export goods and get profit back to both the corporations themselves, the moneymen behind it and the connections in the government. It might seem corrupt and conspirational, but its just one of my many thoughts that I have developed throughout studying some of these things.

So, with this I want to defend Obama ( and in some horrendous way, George Bush aswell) and say that as a president one cannot make miracles happen. I am not saying that Obama cannot do anything and that he is powerless because of corporations or people with money. Moreover, Obama is, as a multicultural and democratic person, an anthropomorphic bridge between muslims and the Western world, black and white and hopefully also poor and rich. A multicultural man, with experiences outside United States (Texas), would, or I want to believe this, have a more humane side to himself and would prioritize human security and human wellbeing before national security and interest. A journalist in Time magazine wrote that Obamas life reflects the challenges of the contemporary world, the Muslim School in Java and the Harvard Law school signifies the contrast between Muslims and the West. His family in Africa, and his family in America reflects the invisible "borders" between blacks and whites in many parts of the world, all of this is well and good, but for Barack Hussein Obama to stay in power and to change the elements of USA and world politics in the manner that he (I want) wants to, he needs to make decisions that are unpopular and maybe also contradictory to his promises to satisfy the money and powerpeople. My point is.. give the man a chance to last more than 4 years. 4 years are babysteps in the political realm. Hail to the Chief!
